Job Title: Email Marketing Specialist
Job Location: Remote - for US based corporation
Reports to: Director of Loyalty
Expectation: 40 Hours / Week

JOB SUMMARY

The Email Marketing Specialist is responsible for project managing and executing email campaigns that drive customer engagement and conversions. In this role, you will manage segmentation strategies, ensure timely delivery of campaigns, support creative development, and analyze performance to make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all email communications align with Rural King’s brand guidelines and overall marketing objectives.

JOB DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Campaign Project Management:

    • Oversee the end-to-end planning and execution of email campaigns, ensuring all tasks are completed on schedule.

    • Coordinate with creative, content, and data analytics teams to streamline campaign development and delivery.

  • Campaign Execution:

    • Build, test, and launch email campaigns using approved email marketing platforms, adhering to best practices and brand standards.

  • Segmentation & Targeting:

    • Manage and optimize email list segmentation to deliver personalized and relevant content to different customer groups.

  • Timely Delivery:

    • Monitor campaign timelines and ensure all components are delivered promptly and accurately, meeting campaign deadlines.

  • Creative Support:

    • Collaborate with the creative team to develop engaging email content and visuals that effectively communicate campaign messages.

  • Performance Analysis & Reporting:

    • Analyze key performance metrics (e.g., open rates, click-through rates, conversions) using analytics tools.

    • Prepare regular performance reports and provide actionable insights to drive campaign improvements and data-driven decision-making.

  • Continuous Improvement:

    • Identify areas for optimization in campaign processes and strategies, proposing adjustments to enhance overall email marketing effectiveness.

  • Additional Responsibilities:

    • Assist with ad hoc projects and other email marketing initiatives as assigned to support Rural King’s marketing efforts.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education & Experience:

    • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

    • 1-2 years of experience in email marketing or digital marketing is preferred.

  • Technical Proficiency:

    • Proficient in email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, etc.) and familiar with segmentation, automation, and reporting tools.

    • Basic knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to interpret campaign data is a plus.

  • Analytical Skills:

    • Strong ability to analyze data, interpret performance metrics, and develop actionable insights for campaign optimization.

  • Organizational & Communication Skills:

    • Excellent project management and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.

    • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Collaboration:

    • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced setting.
